CHATGPT RECEIVED RESPONSES FROM GOOGLE AND MICROSOFT AMIDST OTHER DEVELOPMENTS

Google shows of what Bard chatgpt competitor can do

During a livestream in Paris on Wednesday, Prabhakar Raghavan, Senior VP at Google, showcased Bard, an advanced internet search function that competes with Microsoft's OpenAI's ChatGPT. Bard utilizes artificial intelligence to provide users with comprehensive information when searching for a particular item or service. For instance, Raghavan demonstrated how Bard can assist users in narrowing down options when purchasing an electric car by offering information on the advantages and disadvantages of electric vehicles. Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that the technology would require rigorous testing before it could be launched officially. To ensure the technology's accuracy, Pichai would require Google employees to test the system, allowing developers to identify and correct any flaws. (Source: CNBC)

Microsoft plans to Integrate AI into bing

Microsoft has incorporated artificial intelligence into its search engine Bing, providing web users with the ability to chat with ChatGPT and perform advanced searches. Executives at Microsoft are thrilled to showcase the A.I. capabilities of Bing. Since 2019, Microsoft has been investing in Open AI to make Bing a viable competitor to Google, with reports suggesting that it has invested $10 billion. Bing is currently being tested by a small group of users but will soon be more widely available. For example, when searching for a vegetarian dinner menu, Bing will not only provide a list of menu items on the left side of the user's screen but will also create a grocery list categorized by aisle and the required amounts for a particular number of individuals.
