XIAOMI LAUNCHES NEW SCOOTER 4 ULTRA


At MWC 2023, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra was unveiled, boasting a 940 W peak power motor that provides a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) and a range of 70 km (~43 miles). Compared to its predecessor, this model features dual suspension, a wider deck, and taller handlebars, resulting in a more comfortable ride.



The key highlight of the unveiling was the impressive maximum range of 70km offered by the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra, surpassing the approximately 45km range of the Xiaomi Pro 2. In addition to its extended range, the 4 Ultra is equipped with a 940W motor that enables speeds up to 25kmph and effortless navigation of inclines up to 25%. The new S+ mode is designed to deliver quicker acceleration, but its impact on battery life remains to be determined.

Featuring an aluminium frame that is resistant to corrosion, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is equipped with an IP55 rating that offers reasonable protection against dust and water infiltration. 


This model is also the first in Xiaomi's product range to incorporate a dual suspension system, intended to provide improved handling of uneven surfaces for a more comfortable ride. Additionally, the 10-inch Xiaomi DuraGel Tires are said to be puncture-proof and self-sealing, making them capable of withstanding occasional sharp stones

Apart from the convenience and performance advantages of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra, it also has a favorable impact on the environment. By producing zero emissions, electric scooters offer a more environmentally-friendly alternative to gasoline-powered vehicles.
