Second, you will be able to add stickers, filters, text, music, and voice messages to your stories. You can also use the new video editor to trim, crop, rotate, or adjust the speed of your videos. You can also use the new photo editor to enhance, blur, or draw on your photos.
Third, you will be able to watch stories from your contacts, channels, and groups in a separate tab on the app. You can also discover new stories from popular channels and groups that you are not subscribed to. You can also search for stories by keywords or hashtags.
Besides the story feature, Telegram will also introduce some other new features in July 2023. These include:
- A dark mode for the web version of Telegram.
- A voice chat option for channels and groups, similar to Clubhouse.
- A video call option for secret chats, with end-to-end encryption.
- A live translation option for messages and voice chats, using artificial intelligence.
