Recently the gaming community went into an uproar when a rumor about Call Of Duty mobile getting shutdown was leaked. The leak which was claimed to be a message from Microsoft was disregarded when activision released a message saying they won't be shutting call of duty mobile down.
CODM has been a highly successful mobile game, with over 500 million downloads worldwide and a dedicated player base. It has consistently ranked among the top mobile games in terms of revenue and player engagement. As such, the announcement of its shutdown would be a major blow to the mobile gaming community.
If Microsoft were to shut down CODM, it is likely that it would be due to a variety of factors. As of now, Activision confirmed that CoD Mobile is not and will not be shutting down and will continue to be available.
